DERMAPLANING
Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin and vellus hair (“peach fuzz”), revealing a smooth, luminous complexion.
After your dermaplaning session:
-
Avoid makeup application for the first 12–24 hours to allow the skin to breathe.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure and always wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+.
-
Do not use retinoids, exfoliants, or acids (AHAs, BHAs) for at least 3–5 days.
-
Avoid sweating, steam, and hot showers for 24 hours.
-
Use a gentle cleanser and hydrating moisturizer to protect the newly revealed skin.
-
Do not pick or touch your skin excessively, as it may feel extra sensitive.
You’ll notice a smoother texture and improved product absorption. Monthly dermaplaning sessions are ideal to maintain a bright, even glow.
