MICRONEEDLING
Post-treatment care is crucial for optimal healing and results. Here's what to expect and how to care for your skin.
First 24–48 Hours:
-
Your skin may feel like a mild sunburn—red, tight, and sensitive. This is normal.
-
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area.
-
Do not apply makeup for 24–48 hours.
-
Avoid sweating, saunas, hot showers, and workouts for at least 24 hours.
-
Do not wash your face for the first 8–12 hours post-treatment.
-
When cleansing, use only a gentle, non-active cleanser—no exfoliants or scrubs.
-
Apply soothing, hydrating products as recommended by your provider (e.g., hyaluronic acid, recovery creams).
Days 2–7:
-
Mild flaking or dryness may occur—this is part of the skin renewal process.
-
Continue using gentle, hydrating products—avoid retinoids, acids, or harsh ingredients.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure, and apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily.
-
Do not pick, peel, or scratch your skin as it heals.
Maintenance & Long-Term Care
-
Results continue to improve over 2–4 weeks as collagen production increases.
-
A series of 3–6 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, is recommended for best results.
-
Continue using sun protection daily, as UV exposure can interfere with skin renewal.
-
Avoid harsh treatments (peels, laser, waxing) in the treated area until fully healed.
